Senior Pastor: Johnny Hutchison

Johnny@hdbc.org - Johnny has been pastor of HDBC since 1992. He and his wife Jan are the parents of three grown daughters and the grandparents of three grandchildren; Hutch, Jackson, and Jennibeth. Johnny graduated from ULM in Monroe, LA. He has a Master of Divinity Degree from Mid-America Baptist Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Southwestern Baptist Seminary. Johnny is a dedicated sports fan and loves the Mississippi State Bulldogs. He plays tennis on a regular basis and enjoys books and movies. Follow Johnny on Twitter.

Student Minister: Jace Tubbs

Jace@hdbc.org - Jace and his wife, Missy have one son, AJ. He is a graduate of Arkansas State University and has a Masters degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing tennis, basketball, ping-pong, and guitar. Jace and Missy both serve in the HDBC praise band, Corban.

Music/Education minister: Rick Mckinney

Rick@hdbc.org - Rick joined the staff at Highland Drive Baptist Church in September of 1995 as minister of music and education. He and his wife Dana are the proud parents of one daughter Rachel, and a son, Cam. Rick graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelors degree in Music. He holds a Masters degree in Religious Education from Mid America Baptist Seminary. Rick is a certified high school volleyball official and enjoys playing golf. He is a big fan of the Arkansas State Red Wolves.

Associate Pastor/Children Minister: Shay Caldwell

Shay@hdbc.org - Shay has been the children's minister at HDBC since 2007. Shay is a graduate from Walnut Ridge High School and he graduated from Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary in 2007. Shay is Married to his wife Barbie and they have two teenage boys. Shay loves to play all games and hanging out with his family and friends.

Global Evangelism Director: Jerry and Armentia Adams

Adams@hdbc.org - Jerry Adams has served as Global Evangelism Director at Highland Drive Baptist Church since January 2000 in a volunteer capacity. Armentia, his wife, has served as his assistant during this same time. Jerry took the volunteer position after retiring from City Water and Light in Jonesboro after thirty two years of service. At City Water and Light, he was supervisor of the Jonesboro water treatment plants and water meter shop. Armentia retired from the position of school counselor from the public school system in Arkansas. Jerry and Armentia enjoy traveling together not only on mission projects but are known for their many treks to Branson.

Church Secretary: Glenda Chamberlain

Glenda@hdbc.org - Glenda joined the church staff in 1995 as the church secretary. Glenda is married to her husband Don and has two boys Chase and Chad. Glenda graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in graphic design and supports the Red Wolves at every game. Glenda loves all sports but you will find her on the soccer field during most of her free time.

Nursery Director:Jenni Wilson

jennifer_wilson@suddenlink.net Jennifer, also known as Jenni, has been a member of Highland Drive Baptist Church since 2002.Her husband, whom she first met at HDBC, is Jonathan. They have a dog named Roxie. Jenni graduated from Oak Grove High School in North Little Rock in 2002. She then attended Arkansas State University, and graduated with a BSN in 2006. She is a Registered Nurse and works at Jonesboro Surgical Associates. Jenni is a St. Louis Cardinals fan by marriage. She enjoys spending time with family and hanging out with friends.

Associate Nursery Director: Ariel Allen

ariel.burge@smail.astate.edu - Ariel joined Highland Drive Baptist Church in June 2010 with her husband, Matthew Allen, whom she married May 22, 2010. She served as a volunteer in the HDBC nursery two preceding years before becoming a member, and loved every minute of it! She is originally from Magnolia, AR, where she graduated high school, but now considers Jonesboro her permanent home. She is currently attending Arkansas State University to earn a Bachelors degree in Social Work, and after graduating in 2012, she also plans to receive her Masters in Social Work. In her spare time, she loves to read, scrapbook, and spend time with her husband and friends.
