Men

HDBC has a new men’s ministry that seeks to provide opportunities for men to be together in ways that will provide accountability, spiritual growth and mutual support for issues facing men. This ministry is also designed to provide opportunities for men to use their skills and talents in ministering to other members of the church and to members of the community.

 

HDBC hosts a community wide Bible Study Fellowship for men each Monday night during the school year. There are also a number of resources for men found in the HDBC @Home room located in the west hall just off of the main foyer. Other resources can be found in the library, located on the east hallway.

 

Women

HDBC has an active women’s ministry that seeks to provide opportunities for women to be together in ways that will provide accountability, spiritual growth and mutual support for issues facing women. Each year our women’s ministry leadership team provides Bible study opportunities, fellowship gatherings, trips and ministry opportunities for women.

 

Resources designed to meet specific needs of women can be found in the HDBC @Home room located in the west hall just off the main foyer. Other resources can be found in the library, located on the east hallway.

 

Marriage

HDBC seeks to find ways to highlight the importance of Biblical marriage and to plan events and ministries that will strength married couples. Each year we set aside a special day to Celebrate Marriage. Couples who are celebrating a first anniversary or an anniversary at a five-year interval are recognized and honored. On that same Sunday we have Date Night, encouraging married couples spend time together.

Parents

Parenting is both rewarding and challenging. HDBC seeks to aid parents by providing a number of resources through the HDBC @Home room located in the west hallway just off the main foyer. Other resources can be found in the library, located on the east hallway. Our student pastor and children’s pastor host Parent-Connect five to six times each year. Parent- Connect is time for our ministers to meet with parents, provide counsel, teaching, encourage and dialogue. These meetings take place on Sunday nights, in place of our normal Sunday night worship services.

 

@Home

The HDBC @Home room is stocked with resources to help with a variety of issues related to life. All resources in the room are free and may be taken as needed. This room is located on the west hallway just off the main foyer.

 

Library

The HDBC library is located on the east hallway near the main office area. It contains up-to- date resources covering a variety of topics. There are also a large number of Christian fiction books and resources that can be borrowed.
