Guidelines and plans may change at anytime due to the changing circumstances in our community and state.
We have decided that it is wise to temporarily suspend our on-campus Sunday worship services and Wednesday night activities. We have no way of knowing if the virus has been spread during our gatherings, but we feel it is wise to do what we can to minimize any possible advance of the virus through our on-campus large groups. Over the next few weeks we will evaluate the situation among our members and in our community and seek wisdom on when to resume on-campus gatherings. Our hope and prayer is that we can resume sooner rather than later.
We offer three worship services at 8:30am, 9:45am, and 11:00am.
The following guidelines are based on the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines, the governor's statements and the advice of healthcare professionals.
Please do not attend if:
You have run fever in the last 2 days.
You have a cough, shortness of breath or other COVID-19 symptoms.
You have known exposure to someone with COVID-19 in the last 2 weeks.
Healthcare professionals strongly recommend that older adults (65 and up) continue to shelter-in-place, due to increased risk of the COVID-19 virus.
Those with underlying health conditions that increase the risks associated with the COVID-19 virus should continue to shelter-in-place.
Things you need to know before you attend:
Seating is limited. Registration is required. A link to register will be sent to church members and added to this site soon. Older adults will be given the opportunity to register before everyone else.
Face coverings (masks) are required for all who are 10 years old and older.
Social distancing should be practiced at all times.
No nursery, childcare or kids worship.
No food or drinks will be provided or allowed in the building.
The main entrance (north) is the only entrance that will be used.
In case of rain or inclement weather the east portico entrance will be available.
The chairs are arranged in small groupings of 2s, 3s and 4s. Each grouping should be occupied by only one couple, single person or family unit. Chairs can be adjusted to accommodate groups larger than four. Volunteers will be available to assist with seating.
The worship center, restrooms and foyer will be sanitized between services.
If you are attending a later service please wait in your vehicle until the doors are opened. This will signal that the cleaning process has been completed.
We will not pass the offering plates. Offering boxes will be available in the worship center. You may drop your offering into one of these when you enter or exit.
We will stream all three worship services on the HDBC Facebook page.
